A series of different cycling stories created for Rose Bikes. Stories about real characters: From e-bike commuters to professional road cyclists, from Berlin based artists to gravel adventurers. We created eight episodes over the last four years with more coming in 2022.
Cyclestories episode VII: a culinary commute
Chef Fabse Kracht tested the extreme form of long-distance commuting on his E-Gravel Bike. We dropped him off in Hamburg with his BACKROAD+ and a big appetite. From there, he set out on a 3-day, 428-kilometer "culinary commute" to his workplace “Mussumer Krug” in Bocholt. Fabse collected everything eatable along his journey in his bike bags from Hamburg, Bremen, Osnabrück, Münster and Bocholt to prepare a tasty meal at home.

On the summer soltice, also known as "the longest day", these guys took advantage of every last ray of sunshine from dawn to dusk. The plan? 136 kilometres with the ROSE gravel bike BACKROAD AL zipping through the Ruhr area - from Dortmund to Duisburg. Complete with fries and a swim.
